WHEATON, Ill. (April 1, 2003)Wyndemere Retirement Community will host its popular "Lunch & Learn" lecture, entitled Retirement 101, on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, from 11:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. Led by Randalynn Kaye, CMP, marketing director for Wyndemere, the seminar focuses on educating and informing the public on how to research retirement communities and learn the wide variety of alternatives available to the consumer.
"My goal is to have attendees walk away from the program with a much clearer understanding of all the available options when it comes to retirement lifestyle," said Kaye. "In addition to providing food for thought, we'll discuss terminology specific to senior living and offer a comprehensive list of resources and websites for those currently in the research mode for themselves or a family member."
According to Kaye, becoming a well-educated, savvy consumer is crucial when making major risk/value life decisions and this seminar also provides stimulating thought and conversation starters for the family, whether they are seniors or their adult children.
